Vince Laux’s women’s fashion brand Lacoste has launched a new look in honour of the US women’s Open win.
Laux won the final match in the men’s tournament on Monday with a 6-5, 6-2, 6 1/2-set victory over Australian Sam Querrey.
The Australian team will face Japan on Thursday.
Lacostre announced it was getting a “new, stylish look” to coincide with the US men’s victory.
The brand is celebrating by getting its signature women’s silhouette to go on sale on Friday.
“We want to give back to our fans who have supported us since day one,” said Lacostemre CEO Julie Desjardins.
“In 2018 we launched the Laux Collection, a collection of premium brands that showcase our own vision for women’s style.
We hope you enjoy our new look and know it is a product of a very special moment for our company and our fans.”
Laux, who won the men of three sets, was ranked No. 2 on the ATP rankings heading into the tournament.
The 33-year-old Laux lost in a close match to Querray, who has won 17 grand slam singles titles, and also lost in the last four rounds of the men, losing a first set to world number one Stan Wawrinka in the semifinals.
He was ranked fourth on the men and fifth on the women’s rankings.
